Comparative analysis of communication systems

ville_rouen.webp

The City of Rouen asked Resilio whether it would be environmentally beneficial to switch from a telephony system to a softphony system. We conducted a comparative life cycle analysis between a full traditional telephony communication system and a mixed telephony-softphony systems, according to the constraints of the City of Rouen. Results show that the reduction of landline telephones number reduces environmental impacts, mainly thanks to the reduction of telephony network equipment.
