rapport-commission.png

Resilio was commissioned, jointly with Ramboll, to assess the environmental footprint of 10 day-to-day behaviors. We thus worked closely with DG ENER and DG CNECT from the EU Commission to elaborate a simplified Life Cycle Assessment model. As as result, we managed to quantify the energy consumption as well as the environmental impact of:

  • 1h of videostreaming
  • 1h of videoconferencing
  • 1h of social gaming
  • 1h of music streaming
  • 1h of social networking
  • Storing 1GB of data in the Cloud
  • Downloading data to a computer from the Cloud
