Helping regulation test Green IT reporting standards
Under the article 13 of the AGEC law, French Telecom operators will have to disclose the CO2 emissions of their internet services on billing documents. To do so, they need to follow the guidelines defined in the Product Category Rules (PCR) for Internet Service Providers (ISPs), written by the French Environmental Agency (ADEME) in 2021. From April to October 2023, Resilio worked with ADEME to test the PCR for ISPs. We successfully built an environmental model according to ISO 14040/44 standards for Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and delivered it to Orange, SFR / Iliad and Bouygues Telecom. We later interpolated these results to estimate the impact of the Internet in France.
The results of our collaboration with Resilio are obvious: a successful sustainable transition, redesigned e-learnings, optimized communication, and empowered project teams. Thanks to the remarkable leadership of Anne Rabot, head of this mission at Resilio, our CSR approach has accelerated brilliantly.
